This week I researched the functions of the different parts of the brain I found. For example, the cerebellum helps coordinate motion, the hypothalamus controls body temperature, hunger, and thirst, and the thalamus relays motor and sensory skills to the cerebral cortex. Some questions I still have are: How do these parts of the brain specifically relate to each other? and What parts of the brain have to do with positive feelings? A challenge I have come across is putting the parts of the brain from two different sources together, and trying to distinguish the different parts from each other. My goals for next week are to study mindfulness and how the parts of the brain can help you in staying calm and positive. Also this week, I found out that the brain and the spinal cord are included in the central nervous system, so information is transferred from sensory organs through the nerves and spinal cord into the brain where the information is processed.

Building relationships with customers via social media is a sure way to promote your business and gain trust with consumers. I was interested in this article because I've seen sponsored ads on Instagram that are actually inter...

This week I located parts of the brain and learned what they were called. I still need to figure out what the functions are of those parts of the brain, so a question I still have is: How does each part of the brain contribute something to the whole body? A challenge I have come across is finding the most reliable picture of the brain to base my information off of. My goals for this weekend are to figure out the functions of the different parts of the brain, and for next week, to figure out how the brain is connected to the rest of the body.

eCommerce Article #3

https://www.shopify.ca/blog/alicja-confections-retail-recipe I chose to read the article, "A Chocolate Maker's Recipe for Retail Success." This article is about the little ways you can make your product better and how to solve problems that arise when trying to start your own business. Also, this article illustrated the idea that in order to sell more products, you have to do your research and adapt to the consumer's tastes, and be unique. I was intrigued by this article because I really like chocolate, and it was interesting to read about the fun techniques Alicja Buchowicz used to make her business grow. The post card wrapping on the chocolate bars is simple yet distinctive, as shown in the article when the chocolate shop turned into a tourist destination. Alicja's business grew because she took the time to do the research and be creative, and I was inspired by her persistence.
